• If a gentle cleanser doesn't do the trick, try a clay or mud mask to hasten zits' demise.
• During pregnancy, avoid products that include vitamin-A derivatives such as Retin-A and Renova; Accutane, in particular, is known to cause serious birth defects.
• If you still have blemish problems, ask your physician about other options; some doctors sanction glycolic peels and even certain laser treatments during pregnancy.
