Where to Get the Support You Need

(and we don't mean just bras)

Gone are the days when women had to rely on old wives' tales, a few scant books and the occasional visit from Aunt Marge to get the help they needed with breastfeeding. Now help abounds--from books and DVDs to lactation consultants and new-mom's groups. Even better, these nursing aids are now available in boutique-type stores that specialize in breastfeeding--with bras, pumps, lotions, potions and virtually everything else in between, all backed by knowledgeable, helpful staff. Many even offer classes and one-on-one consultations.

As the following list shows, these shops are sprouting up in cities nationwide, so chances are there's one near you. If you know of a great one we've missed, click on "Share Your Comments" below and tell us about it!
