If you're trying to limit caffeine from coffee during pregnancy, you should know that "decaf" doesn't necessarily mean stimulant-free. Researchers sampled decaf coffee from doughnut shops, fast-food restaurants and Starbucks and found beverages containing as much as 15.8 milligrams of caffeine. This is way less than the 300 mg daily limit recommended for pregnancy, but if you drink several large cups daily, your caffeine intake can still be significant.
