When some celebs join the mommy club they sometimes feel they have to prove like they are just like us. So much so, that they fall into the trap of oversharing about their pregnancies and give us a little too much information.
Jessica Simpson was the queen of this during her pregnancies with classics like, “Oh my God, y’all I just had a daydream that my vagina ate a bag of Skittles.”
She also once told Jimmy Kimmel that she felt like she had a “bowling ball sitting on my hoohah.”
Tori Spelling actually revealed that she got her husband Dean McDermott to check out her nether regions to see whether she needed to groom.
“I wasn’t prepared for losing sight of my lower region,” the mom-of-four revealed about her pregnancies.
“I’d say, ‘Dean, how’s it looking down there? Do I need to shave?’ But of course I couldn’t shave. So Dean had to shave me. He’d hold up a mirror and say, ‘How’d I do?’ Or he’d take a picture with his Blackberry to show me.”
The Killing’s actress Jamie Anne Allman and her True Blood star husband Marshall Allman welcomed twin boys earlier this year, but the new mom did not have an easy pregnancy and shared much about her bodily functions.
“I puked 7 to 12 times a day,” she told Us Weekly. “And then I peed my pants every time I puked. I popped blood vessels all around my eyes from every time I vomited, and if I moved slightly I would puke, so I couldn’t really walk to the bathroom.”
And what about reality star moms like Kourtney Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson taking the cameras in the delivery room to give fans an up close and personal look at their labor and delivery?
Meanwhile, Rosie Pope, Erykah Badu and Ali Landry all live tweeted in between contractions.
