Everything in this slideshow
Daphne Oz, host of The Chew and author of Relish, has her fair share of pregnancy cravings, but she keeps them in check: "I get a good balance of the nutritious and the indulgent," she says in our February/March issue. (Exhibit A: Daphne in Palm Beach with a croissant and green juice, shown here.) Follow her lead for a healthy, happy pregnancy, starting with these nutritious noshes.
Moroccan Lentil Soup
Daphne's been making this twist on traditional Turkish lentil soup throughout her pregnancy—she calls it "super nutrient-dense" and adds that "you can't f--- it up…sorry, screw it up." It's cozy and filling and, yep, super easy.
Smoothies, Smoothies, Smoothies
"Smoothies are a great way to get a huge dose of nutrition and not think about it," says Daphne, who suggests including yogurt, kale and other greens. Tip: "Sour cherries do a great job of masking strong flavors."
The Basics, Made Healthy
"For lunch I do sandwiches with avocados and cheese or hummus. Or a big salad," says Daphne.
