Less than a day after Baby Cambridge made his big debut, we finally have a name.
According to a press release from Kensington Palace:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis."
"The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge."
We absolutely LOVE it!
Prince George, who was born on Monday, July 22, was introduced to the world a day later when his proud new parents (both appropriately dressed in blue) greeted the press and showed off the newborn before leaving the hospital.
After spending his first night at home, the little guy received a visit from his great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, on Wednesday morning.
It is likely that Prince William and Kate discussed possible names with the Queen during her visit; after all, the baby boy will be third in line to her throne.
