Can I whiten my teeth?
While there are no documented studies, experts do not recommend teeth whitening while you're expecting. There is a lot of blood flow to the gums, and putting a bleaching agent, such as peroxide, near them for any length of time means a small bit will likely be absorbed, explains Great Neck, N.Y.-based dermatologist Jeannette Graf, M.D.
