Let's Talk About Sex

2.11.08: Getting back in the saddle

It's that time of year again. The mother of all Hallmark holidays is upon us. But if you're pregnant or just had a new baby, love may be the last thing on your mind. Still, let's not forget what got you into your pregnant pickle in the first place: the man in your life. Remember him? (Me neither.) This week, it's high time to make time for the two of you.

Pregnancy and parenthood don't have to mean your sex life is over. (Yeah, right. But, bear with us here…) Our Endless Love feature will give you a whole new way of looking at the "Birds and the Be's." (Hint: Be patient. Be nurturing. Be creative and spontaneous.) What's that you say? You're falling asleep before your head hits the pillow? Try the kitchen floor. Your big belly keeps getting in the way, literally and figuratively? It's time to shake things up a little bit— and have we got some ideas for you.

Worried about having sex after delivering a baby? You're not the only one. Check out our postpartum pointers for getting back in the saddle. And don't miss the Love Lessons you and your partner can't afford not to learn.

Remember, ladies: it's important to nurture your relationship as well as your baby. Now, go change out of those sweatpants, dim the lights, and get busy.
