Yield: Makes 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups lowfat milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 5 ginger coins
  • 5 black peppercorns
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 bags decaffeinated black tea
  • Honey to taste

Make It

1. In a saucepan, bring the milk, water, ginger and spices to a boil. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Stir in the tea bags, cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain into cups and sweeten with honey to taste.
