Fitpregnancy.com exclusive: Jessica's Workout

How the Fantastic One stays that way....

Actress Jessica Alba, appearing on the cover of Fit Pregnancy's June/July issue, was very close to delivering her first baby - and to her wedding with dad-to-be Cash Warren - when we spoke to her trainer, Ramona Braganza, creator of the "3-2-1 Workout." And Alba was still going strong. Here's how she stayed in such great shape before and during her pregnancy.

Q&A with Jessica Alba

Q: Your life is so busy. How are you feeling now that you're pregnant?
A:
At the end of the day I am so tired I can't function or speak and my eyes glaze over; but this pregnancy has seriously mellowed me out, which is nice. I've been going, going, going for so long, it feels nice not to take things so seriously.

Jessica Alba's Favorite Maternity Things

Maternity clothes
Maternity Spanx are my favorite right now. The stomach is cut out so its fantastic when I'm wearing a nice dress because there is no chafing! I am wearing a lot of Juicy right now also, long dresses with extra room in the bust so everything is in a bigger size but if I go for maternity clothes, I like Pea in the Pod.

Footwear
Flip-flops, of course. I just don't want to wear anything else on my feet at this point!

Gab Fest

At 38, Gabby Reece leads an exceedingly full life as a pro volleyball player, entrepreneur, former host of Fit TV/Discovery's "Insider Training," Yahoo health writer, hands-on mom to daughter Reece, 4, and wife to big-wave surfer Laird Hamilton. The 6'3" former model spoke with us from Maui as she and her family awaited the late-December arrival of baby number two.

Work out with Gabby

Pregnancies don't get more fit than this! In the February/March issue of FitPregnancy, professional volleyball player and mother Gabrielle Reece shares her tips on how she stayed fit through both of her pregnancies. Read our extended interview with Gabby to find out more about her exercise routine, why she thinks exercising during pregnancy is so important, and how motherhood has changed her.

Welcome to motherhood, Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony welcomed their twins Max and Emme on February 22nd. Emme weighed in at 5 pounds, 7 ounces, while her brother weighed 6 pounds. The twins are Lopez's first children. Anthony has three children from previous relationships.

The couple sold exclusive rights to the first photos of their babies to People.com for a reported $6 million.

Congratulations to J-Lo and Marc Anthony on their beautiful bundles of joy!

Courtney Thorne-Smith: On Her Way to Mommy Place

Expecting her first child this winter, Courtney Thorne-Smith, now 40, is also promoting her first book, Outside In (Random House). The novel is about an actress on a prime-time drama who is wronged by her sleazy husband and her co-star. Thorne-Smith's own husband, Roger Fishman, has a digital media company, The Zizo Group; they married Jan. 1, 2007. Currently starring in ABC's According to Jim, she previously appeared on (the prime-time drama) Melrose Place and on Ally McBeal.

Rockin' Mama

Brooke Burke, co-host of CBS' Rock Star, has lots going on. The series is anticipating its third installment this summer, her third child is due in late January (she has two daughters with Extreme Makeover plastic surgeon Garth Fisher), and she's engaged to ex-Baywatch cutie David Charvet. We talked with her at our photo shoot.
