Check Out This Gorgeous Take on the Beauty of Breastfeeding

Want to use your breastfeeding photos speak to a much larger issue? Consider having the memories preserved with this new artistic trend.

Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the world—and to prove that point, moms are turning their images of the act into works of art.

The hot trend? Moms add images of trees to their "brelfies" and posting them to social media along with the hashtag #TreeOfLife, to normalize breastfeeding by juxtaposing a completely natural act alongside an object from nature.

Moms have been using an app called PicsArt to create these stunning images—they add color and effects before superimposing images of trees into the photos to create vibrant shots that put the act of breastfeeding front and center.

I want to thank my friends from amazing creative community app @picsart for providing tools and supporting the mamas movement.

Take Natalia Vodianova, a supermodel and mama who participated in the movement. "[I] encourage you to support #normalizebreastfeeding campaign that is growing on social media right now by posting a touching breastfeeding picture to illustrate the deep roots of care and love. I want to thank my friends from amazing creative community app @picsart for providing tools and supporting the mamas movement," the model wrote in the caption field of her very own #TreeOfLife photo, which she shared on Instagram.

The model isn't the only mama who is supporting the movement: Thousands of mothers everywhere have contributed their own brelfies to the conversations. You can check out some of the most stunning images below—will you be posting a similar photo?

I never posted a picture of me breastfeeding the boys because it was rare that they latched on. I wanted to bf so bad and having preemies definitely made it more difficult. Breastfeeding was certainly harder than I ever imagined and the exhaustion that came with having twins was extreme. I exclusively pumped and bottle fed my milk and added in formula for extra calories. This #treeoflife trend that's gone viral has really touched me so I created one with one of the few magical moments captured by my husband. My goal is to breastfeed my next baby (in a couple years) and I'm excited to master it. This photo though, captures it all and makes my heart so full ❤️ Oh and if this photo grosses you out, kindly get the fuck off my IG 😉 #breastfeedingtwins #mamasmilk #breastfeeding #fedisbest #twinmom
