Another 'Bachelorette' Star Just Became a Mom

Jillian Harris welcomes her first child!

It's a Bachelor/Bachelorette baby boom! Just weeks after Ali Fedowtowsky gave birth to a daughter and Catherine Giudici gave birth to a son, another woman who rose to fame on the franchise became a first-time mom as well.

Jillian Harris, the 36-year-old star of the show's fifth season, welcomed a son with longtime partner, Justin Pasutto, on August 5. The couple posted a sweet pregnancy announcement on Instagram back in March. “I can’t remember a time where my heart has been SO full,” Jillian wrote in the caption field of the image. “A total dream come true!! We are over the moon, stoked, blessed, [ecstatic]!!!! Little babe, we CANNOT wait to meet you!!!!!!”

Now the wait is over: The star and her son, Leo, both appear happy and healthy in an Instagram photo Jillian shared. Leo, who was born at 6:02 a.m. in Kelowna, British Columbia, weighed in at 6 lbs., 12 oz., People confirms.

The road to motherhood wasn't perfectly smooth for Jillian. She's eight years older than her partner, and like so many couples out there, they were not perfectly in sync when it came to wanting children. Jillian opened up on her blog when she announced her pregnancy, choosing to reveal that Justin wasn't quite ready for a baby when she most certainly was.

"Justin and I have been together for almost four years now, and he will tell you I started talking about babies on the first date," she joked on her blog. "But truly, I was 32 when we met, and Justin was a fresh ripe 24. Our age difference was never really an issue for us, our love was always strong and very real and that’s all that mattered...But truth be told, I could have gotten knocked up with his baby on that second date and I probably would have been over the moon…OK maybe [that would have been] too soon, but I WAS smitten. Nevertheless, the topic of babies was always front and center in our lives, and I waited patiently for Justin to ‘catch up’ in age to me...and confidently tell me he would be ready. We both decided that the year I turned 36 would be prime, in late 2015, right before my 36th birthday, we 'practiced for baby'...and got lucky, we found out 12 days BEFORE my 36th birthday [that we were pregnant]."

Congrats to the happy family!
