Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are following in the footsteps of their Hills castmates! News just broke that this longtime couple is expecting a baby.
We're calling it now: The Hills: The Next Generation will start production in about 18 years—because yet another star from the reality show is pregnant!
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are expecting their first child. They're right in line with co-stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, who are both set to become first-time mommies this year—and since fellow Hills stars Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari are already parents, that means all of the show's leading ladies have traded in bottle service for midnight feedings.
Heidi and Spencer opened up about the pregnancy—they admitted they've been wanting children for years but felt it was never the right time, and when they eventually decided they were ready, they conceived on their first try.
"I felt nauseous and I wanted to know, so I took a pregnancy test. I was so shocked; Spencer wasn’t. He was so sure it would happen right away. He was like, 'You’re going to get pregnant the first time we try,'" Heidi told Us Weekly. "I’ve had really bad morning sickness since the beginning, but I’ve never been so happy to feel so sick! Every time I feel awful, I remember why and I’m just euphoric. It’s so fulfilling, and I’m mostly just grateful. I’ve been with the love of my life for 10 years, and now we’re starting our own family."
The Hills Baby Boom Continues
Interestingly enough, our former cover girl Audrina opened up about the fact that Heidi would be the next Hills lady to have a baby. And while we stand by our opinion that it can be insensitive to comment on this sort of thing before a friend announces her pregnancy, it appears Audrina may have known something we didn't.
Heidi and Spencer revealed that their baby is due on October 19, and since she's just 12 weeks along, they don't know the baby's sex yet. Will they be welcoming a little boy or a baby girl? The rest is still unwritten.
