Beyoncé Will Reportedly Redefine Home Birth in Million-Dollar Delivery

We knew Beyoncé would give birth in fabulous fashion, but we didn't know it would be THIS extravagant. The star reportedly has some MAJOR plans.

It's safe to say that Beyoncé is not a regular mom. From her perfectly produced pregnancy announcement to her knockout maternity style at the Grammy's, the soon-to-be twin mom has been taking things to new levels where her second pregnancy is concerned.

And if recent reports are any indication, she'll also end this pregnancy in a seriously grand way: Beyoncé's birth plan allegedly involves a home birth—but let's just say this won't really resemble what most people think of the term.

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Beyoncé and Jay-Z will drop a million dollars to transform their home into an epic maternity ward. They'll also reportedly source equipment like incubators and set up a full neonatal unit for their children. Yeah, it's pretty mind-blowing.

It might seem outlandish to think about, but let's not forget that people like Beyoncé need to work really hard in order to find a bit of privacy. Shortly after Beyoncé welcomed daughter Blue Ivy, reports from the New York Times surfaced to detail the efforts taken to ensure Beyoncé had privacy during her first child's delivery...and the push back from fellow new parents that resulted. Reportedly, fellow patients were kept out of the neonatal unit and away from their babies thanks to increased security, and guests for other new mamas were limited. In light of that, does it make sense that Beyoncé would go to such great lengths to give birth in her own space?

A neighbor reportedly told the Daily Mail that Beyoncé's decision is "all about privacy and safety." And aren't those things all moms prioritize? While it may be impossible to think about spending such an astronomical amount of money on childbirth, it's also impossible for most of us to imagine what it's like to live Beyoncé's life and deal with all the pressures that come with it. So we'll do our best to pick our jaws up off the floor in response to all this.
