Carrie Underwood posts first photo of son with hockey player Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators and it is adorable. (Hint: it involves a hockey stick.)
If there's one thing we already know about Carrie Underwood as a new mom, it's that she knows how to nail a baby announcement. Though we got our first sneak peek of baby Isaiah's hand earlier this month, the 32-year-old country singer recently shared a (really) adorable photo of her one-month son with NHL hockey player husband Mike Fisher. The occasion? To celebrate the big win that put his daddy's team, the Nashville Predators, into the playoffs.
"The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach," Underwood quipped in the Instagram caption (and we have to say, we think he might be ready for some baby-style hockey: look at that grip!).
Though Fisher is pretty excited about his team's big win, if he had lost, we're sure he would have been just fine. After Underwood gave birth recently, he told reporters: "We were excited; there's nothing better than being a dad. Obviously, the important thing is everyone is feeling good and mom's feeling good. We're definitely blessed to have him join us in our lives. There's no better feeling. It's easier to put a smile on your face when you mention him after a bad game—so that puts things in perspective."
Can we all say 'awww' in unison? And let's start placing bets on when we see Underwood pull a Gisele and post cute photos of Isaiah and hubby in matching jerseys, k?
