We love a good pre-labor dance routine.
NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie and his wife, Terricka, had one of the most fun pre-labor rituals we've ever seen. The couple welcomed twins on May 8 (Mother's Day, no less!), but not before they broke into a completely appropriate dance right there in the hospital room.
Us Weekly has obtained a video that shows the professional athlete and his very pregnant wife breaking it down to Kidd T's "Baby Mama Anthem." Let it not be said that pregnant women can't twerk—Terricka is nailing all of her hip shaking, booty-popping moves despite the fact that she is literally about to pop. She wears a hospital dressing gown while her husband has on a pair of scrubs.
The couple welcomed two babies, a boy named Jynx Revell-Antonio and a girl named J'adore Nayvi, that same day. The twins were born just five minutes apart, with Jynx taking the lead, weighing in at 5 pounds, 12 ounces. His sister followed at 5 pounds, 8 ounces.
"It was the most amazing, yet rewarding gift to give birth on Mother's Day. This is a storybook fairy-tale for Antonio and I,” Terricka told Us Weekly.
“It was an adrenaline rush—the most amazing feeling to actually bring my son into this world and to hand him over to my beautiful wife,” Antonio, who helped deliver the babies, added.
You may remember that the couple was completely surprised by this pregnancy, as Antonio underwent a vasectomy before they learned of it. They're clearly thrilled with the outcome, though.
"It took me a while to process it," Terricka said. “But Antonio stood firm and was saying, 'It’s God’s will.' And he’s been excited the whole time."
