Looks like former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky will be watching the newest season of America's favorite reality love contest from her bed. The 32-weeks-pregnant star is on modified bed rest, according to the New York Daily News.

"I have this thing called uterine irritability where I have contractions all day. So, like, every two minutes I get contractions," she explained, also telling People magazine, "Basically, I have a very pissed off uterus, is essentially what that means. All day I'll just have contractions. They're not painful but they're uncomfortable."

The good news? She says, "But I hear that if you have those, it prepares your body for labor. So I'm hoping this baby just kind of flies out. You know what I mean? Just slips out!"

Oh Ali, I've so been there! Not the baby slipping out part, but the constant Braxton-Hicks action. While I didn't have a diagnosis of uterine irritability, and was not on bed rest, from about the 30-week mark on, I too experienced extremely frequent contractions during my last pregnancy. It was brutal! I lived in constant fear that I'd go into labor at any second. And with two other kiddos running around, there wasn't a lot of down time.

Of course, when your doctor forces you to have down time like in Ali's case, that is a different story. And she says it's not her style to sit back and relax, which makes being on bed rest very challenging.

"I have to direct my fiancé, Kevin [Manno], like, 'Hey, can you do this? Can you do this?' And I don't like that. I like getting up and doing things. We're trying to finish the nursery, but I just have to sit on the couch and watch him do everything," the soon-to-be first time mom confessed.

I can imagine that's a bummer. Especially if she's a perfectionist like I am. I'd have my husband in the nursery adjusting a picture on the wall a quarter of a millimeter to the left, then the right, then up, then down...

But judging from what Ali says about the new dad in her life, it seems he is totally game. "Kevin is so excited. We went to Barnes & Noble the other day, and he picked out a daddy and daughter book and started crying in the middle of the bookstore," she said, adding "Like, he is so ready. He is already wrapped around her little finger."

Until she gets here, looks like Kevin is wrapped around your finger, Ali!
