Kate and Will Leaving Hospital

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4.24pm. The baby weighs 8 lbs 6 oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth."

The Prince of Cambridge made his official debut to the world just over 24 hours after he was born.

The proud new parents (both appropriately dressed in blue) greeted the press and showed off their little bundle of joy before leaving the hospital to head home.

Kate was wearing a light blue dress with white polka dots (so cute!), similar to the teal polka dot dress worn by Princess Diana when she left the hospital with a newborn Prince William.

Sunny Mum

Princess Kate is a bright spot at the Queen's annual garden party honoring charity volunteers, wearing a canary yellow Emilia Wickstead coat dress, her trusty nude heels and a cream Jane Corbett hat — and, of course, her hard-to-miss baby bump. There's no missing it now that she's popped at seven months pregnant.

Reports say the duchess will be depending on her mom in the first days after the baby's birth, just like any new first-time mom. Breaking royal tradition, Princess Kate and the new baby will live with her parents for at least six weeks after leaving the hospital, according to media reports.

Camping Chic

Only a princess can make camping look comfy and chic. Wearing a Barbour jacket, Le Chameau boots, maternity skinny jeans and Really Wild Clothing Company tweed moss fleck hat, the royal mom-to-be braved cold weather to join other UK Scout volunteers in learning how to light a camp fire and cook unleavened bread on a stick.

Glowing in Green

Princess Kate attended an event in place of the Queen last month wearing a fawn pill box hat, her favorite LK Bennett heels and a Mulberry Frayed Coat in mint cotton tweed featuring oversized front pockets and frayed seam detailing on the collar edges, the bodice and the elbows of the sleeves. The duchess looked visibly pregnant, coat and all, much to the delight of royal watchers.

Pretty in Peach

The Duchess of Cambridge wore this peach Tara Jarmon coat over a nude-colored dress with her trademark nude heels and matching clutch on a recent outing for charity.

With Kate's July due date approaching, betting firms in England say Alexandra is the current favorite baby name pick for the future heir, giving it 2-to-1 odds.

The royal couple hasn't revealed the gender of the baby, but that hasn't stopped rumors that the baby is actually a boy and will be named Philip, after the Prince William's grandfather.

Blooming Belly

The Duchess of Cambridge is slowly starting to embrace spring maternity styles, such as this floral dress from Canadian designer Erdem, that prominently show off her bump. During the recent visit to an elementary, she even managed to stylishly do some digging and plant a tree in this dress and heels.

Blue For Boy?

Is the princess sending us a secret message in the choice of this powder blue Emilia Wickstead dress? No word on the gender of the next heir to the British throne, but rumors are circulating that it is indeed a boy after Princess Kate revealed that she had purchased a blue Bugaboo stroller.

Lucky Green

Early in her pregnancy, coats were Princess Kate's go-to clothing to hide her growing bump. In addition, the royal mom-to-be has not given up her stiletto high heels. At this St. Patrick's Day outing, the duchess got her 4-inch heel stuck in a grate and needed help from her husband in getting it out. Happens to the best of us, right, ladies?

Under Wraps

In her first public appearance of 2013, Princess Kate wore a gray Max Mara wrap dress that gave us a glimpse at her barely there bump. After rocking this outfit with the forgiving cut, the designer sold out of the dress in a matter of hours.

Shopping In Her Closet

Known for recycling outfits, Princess Kate wore this red Armani coat to an April trip to Scotland after first wearing it in 2006. According to a fashion website dedicated to the duchess, alterations made it possible to wear this favorite:

"The button on the coat was moved to create a little extra room to better accommodate Kate's pregnancy."
