New Moms Will Love Peta Murgatroyd's Postnatal Fitness Routine

Peta Murgatroyd's secret to getting super fit after baby? Including her hubby-to-be and baby in the action! She posted an adorable video of her fam at the gym.

Peta Murgatroyd has been amazingly candid about the physical challenges she's faced as a new mama. From getting real about how a woman's belly really looks after she gives birth to admitting that even she still struggles with body image, the Dancing With the Stars pro has been a totally relatable icon for other new moms who are dealing with the same issues.

And now, she's sharing a sneak peek at a postnatal workout that actually Peta's new mom fitness secret? including her fiancé, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and their son, Shai, in her gym sessions.

Let's be real—getting to the gym is never easy once you become a mom....but doesn't the fact that Peta's workouts double as family bonding time make the whole thing seem more doable?

The cute clip features Fit Pregnancy and Baby's cover girl working through a full circuit at the gym—she and Maksim pass baby Shai back and forth as she performs sit-ups, and the dance pro even pushes her two guys across the gym floor. It's worth noting that Peta manages to get a totally challenging, effective workout in while logging some cuddle time with her adorable son. Also worth noting? The fact that Shai is clearly having the time of his life.

"Mum getting after it in the gym with some special helpers - Shai, @maksimc, and the amazing @timhartwigtrain. Working hard for that wedding body!" Peta writes alongside the video. It's cuteness overload for sure, but the video may also serve as the inspiration new moms need to make fitness work within their jam-packed lives. Obviously, Peta is a professional dancer and a celebrity, so she's at a higher level of fitness and has access to help as she works to get into top shape. Still, we think all mamas can take a page from her book and turn fitness into a family affair.
