In a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, pregnant Kourtney Kardashian lets partner Scott Disick shave her out-of-reach pubic hair. It's not pretty.
Of all the things your husband can say to you when you're 8-months pregnant (for the third time), "I could trim you up real nice, it'll run you about $13.50", isn't likely high up on your list. While Kourtney Kardashian didn't seemed offended by her partner Scott Disick's stance on pubic hair in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we're still busy trying to wrap our head around his comments.
Not only does he say her "bush is hangin' out like it's the '80s" but in a deleted scene, he also says that having sex with a pregnant woman is "real bad." While sister Khole watches (in horror, we hope) as Disick says he'll part his wife "like the dead sea" and shaves her pubic hair, Kourtney puts a lot of trust in her bab(ies) daddy. (One thing's for sure, we love our husbands but ... we'd never let them put an electronic razor that close to our lady parts!)
While the idea of primping before labor isn't new—many women get a wax or a manicure and pedicure—we can't say we've heard of a guy who demanded his wife to clean up for his own preferences. (But then again, it is the Kardashians.) When it comes to the sexualization of down under during pregnancy, let's let it be about what the woman wants, instead of the needs of a husband, who (sorry!) isn't carrying a baby for nine months and then giving birth to it.

One thing Kourtney said did strike a chord with us though: at some point, it's nearly impossible to actually shave our legs when preggo. Though Kourt's already welcomed her son Reign in December (and isn't pregnant again—yet anyway), if you're expecting and need some tips on how to reach past that belly, here are some tips:
Extend Your Razor
With RazorReach—a plastic extender that attaches to your razor—you add more length to your, um, arm to get past your belly. Just be careful that the extender doesn't go rogue and shave your toes.
Take a Bath
If you can get yourself into a bath and lay down, you might be able to shave your legs by turning slightly to the side. Opt for a razor that has a built in lotion, like Schick Intuition so you don't have to worry about lathering.
Get a Wax
It'll hurt, sure. But you are about to give birth, so maybe think of it as a warm-up?
