Mom Wants Others to Forget Their Flaws This Summer

Note to all postpartum ladies: You deserve to feel the sunshine on your belly, too.

Australian mommy blogger Haddas Ancliffe has an important message for all the mothers out there as we head into warmer weather: Follow her lead and wear whatever you want to...even belly-baring styles that postpartum women may be afraid to rock no thanks to so-called "flaws" like stretch marks.

Ancliffe posted a photo of herself wearing a crop top on her Instagram account to make a larger statement. "I rocked this look, tummy out and everything. So glad I'm not concerned with 'flaws' showing anymore, I can finally enjoy summer clothing. It's getting colder in Australia now but for you guys on the other side of the world, enjoy your sun dresses, crop tops and shorts that squish your cute marshmallow thighs out when you sit down! You deserve to bask in the warmth of the sun as much as anyone else," she wrote in the caption field of the image.

Ancliffe has become something of a symbol for new mothers—she made headlines after posting a photo of herself breastfeeding at a wedding and regularly posts inspirational messages for other moms.

We love Ancliffe's message here. It's not to say that you have to or even should wear a crop top, it's just about the fact that new moms should never feel limited by their bodies. If you crave that amazing feeling of sunlight spreading over your belly, bare it, flaunt it and forget about those things that society calls "flaws."
