YouTube star Cory Williams—better known as Dude Like Hella—learned about his wife's pregnancy in a really creative (and adorable) way. Just try to watch and not cry.
Vlogger Cory Williams has made a name for himself over the past 10 years as an adventurous California-born, Alaska-transplanted YouTuber who posts videos ranging from funny songs to outdoor adventures. His work has earned him plenty of attention—and money—but his latest video is definitely his best yet.
Williams thought he was filming a funny taste-test video with his wife, Kristen. But she had a completely different plan. Once he was securely blindfolded, Kristen held up several signs explaining the true meaning behind the stunt. "Cory thinks this is a taste challenge, but that's not all this is," the signs read as Williams samples bananas, strawberries and avocados. "One sample is a HUGE surprise."
The final jar contained Williams' favorite: banana baby food.
"Can you think of any reason I'd give you that?" she asks. "Because it was my favorite when I was a little boy?" he says with a smile, catching on to what she's saying.
"This is how my wife told me we're having a baby," he wrote in the caption accompanying the clip. "I can't watch this video without crying. We're so happy! We're going to have a baby!"
He later posted a vlog describing more details about the pregnancy. "We're currently about 7 weeks pregnant but we've only known for 2 weeks," he wrote in the description for his first "daddy vlog."
"Most people say to wait at least 3 months to break the news because 80% of the problems that happen during a pregnancy, happen during that time," he continued. "However, we're confident that everything will go just fine. If something does happen, then that's life and we'll deal with it but again, we're feeling pretty good about this."
He goes on to say Kristen will be the "best mother a child can have." Awww!
"I will undoubtedly be the best father that I can possibly be. The baby isn't here yet and I already love it with everything I am," he continued. "Life is good!"
