This mama's gesture is so thoughtful—not to mention totally genius.
No matter how much time you spend packing your diaper bag, chances are you'll encounter an emergency of the diaper blowout variety at least once or twice. And nothing's worse than a big blowout when you're out of wipes and diapers. But one California mother has been there, and she's taking an incredibly thoughtful step to help out other moms who find themselves empty-handed during outings with their children.
The mother set up a pile of diapers and wipes on the changing table of a HomeGoods bathroom. Another mom shared a snapshot of the setup, which included a note from the good samaritan, who refers to herself simply as "Sarah."
"I once found myself in this exact spot with a newborn with a crazy blowout and NO DIAPERS or wipes," Sarah wrote. "An unmitigated disaster, that was! Just in case you have found yourself in the same sort of pickle, I brought in some wipes and diapers to save the day. Good luck out there! Happy holidays!"
We couldn't love this simple—yet totally spot-on—gesture more. It's such a perfect example of one mom helping others, providing the sort of thing that can make a frazzled mom's life that much easier. (If only the businesses themselves would be so thoughtful!) Has anyone ever saved the day for you with a similarly sweet move?
