You'll Never Guess This Instagram Star is 6 Months Pregnant

As she shows off her toned figure, it's hard to believe this fitness enthusiast is more than half way through her pregnancy.

Hannah Polites is six months pregnant—though you might not guess by looking at her. The fitness-loving mom-to-be is tiny and sports a barely-there baby bump, but that doesn't mean she and her baby aren't healthy as can be.

The Instagram model—who boasts over one million followers on the platform—isn't shy about showing off her belly...and followers have taken it upon themselves to comment on how small her bump is. We've said it once and we'll say it again: There is no right way for a baby bump to look. Some women simply have smaller bumps than others and that's OK. While it's incredibly frustrating when people make another woman's body their business, Polites doesn't let the comments get to her.

"I do not take the negative comments to heart, especially when I know I am making informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and exercise in pregnancy and motherhood," she told the Gold Coast Bulletin. "'For the record, doctors have told me bub is healthy."

Polites is also a trained midwife—so there's a good chance she knows exactly what it takes to maintain a healthy pregnancy. Her commitment to healthy living probably doesn't hurt either. "I don't count calories or follow fad diets and believe in nourishing my body with foods in their most natural state possible. I love to buy fresh, local produce and shop predominantly from local markets," she wrote on her personal website.

While a lot of people seem to think Polite's bump is too small, the reality is that her baby is actually 20 percent larger than average, according to her docs, she said in a recent Instagram post.

"I will continue to post photos of my body as I feel that it's important to be a positive role model in the community," she said. "My life can be confronting for women because it differs to their own choices, but this is who I am and everyone is welcome to share their own journeys."
