- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
- 3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried
1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add flour, whisk together and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring regularly.
2. Slowly add beef broth, whisking constantly until smooth. Continue to cook until gravy thickens slightly.
3. Season with thyme and serve.
